ENTRY FEE IS US$80 PER PERSON FOR RESIDENTS IN ARGENTINE AND US$ 100 FOR RESIDENTS OF ALL INTERNATIONALCOUNTRIES.

FOR THE ONES WHO LIVE OVERSEAS, PATAGONIA EVENTOS WILL MAIL THE CD & DVD TO THEIR HOMES.

RACE DAY RUNNER SERVICES
- THERE WILL BE 8 AID STATIONS along the marathon course. AID STATIONS WILL SUPPLY GATORADE AND WATER
- ALL PARTICIPANTS MAY STORE THEIR WARM –UP CLOTHING IN A DESIGNATED PLACE THAT WILL BE LOCATED WITHIN THE START AREA.
- MASSAGE THERAPY(“””)
- MEDICAL SUPPORT Safety... Emergency personnel on the course will make the final determination of a competitor’s ability to continue. At checkpoints along the race route these safety personnel trained in wilderness first aid and equipped with radio communications will be ready to take action. The Event is self-supported...all gear required to finish must be carried from start to finish. Aid stations will be available to re-supply your food and water.

RACE PACKET PICKUP AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PICK UP THEIR MARATHON PACKET AT CLUB APEN HUE ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2008 FROM 10 AM TO 4:30 PM.
PRESENT YOUR CONFIRMATION PAYMENT IN OUR BANK ACCOUNT AND YOUR PASSPORT TO RECEIVE YOUR MARATHON PACKET. PACKETS WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED WITHOUT YOUR E-MAIL CONFIRMATION.)

RACE ENTRY REQUIREMENT
- ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST AGREE WITH THE MARATHON RULES
- A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE
GENERAL RULES FOR k42 and k15
- The runner must be in excellent health and fit. The registration does not secure neither covers up any health problem.
- THE PARTICIPANT MUST ADHERE TO THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH PATAGONIA EVENTOS.
- The runner is obliged to care, to defend, and to respect the environment where the marathon takes part
- The runner has to wear the technical MERREL T-SHIRT, given by the organization, during all the event, the BIB number MUST BE fastened with the four pins without COVERING the sponsor advertisements stamped on it.
- If the runner gave up the competition, HE/SHE would have to take THE BIB NUMBER off and to communicate the jury of the marathon his decision.
- The jury of the marathon, the organization and the emergency personnel on the course will make the final determination of competitor’s ability to continue with the marathon if they are risking their health.
- In the technical meeting, the organization will explain about the marathon course. If the runners don’t pay attention to paths or indications, the runners are responsible for losing themselves in the course and they have to retake it again. No claims are heard by the organization which does not become responsible.
- If the course is modified for any reason, the runners will be informed prior to the marathon. Once the runners are notified of changes, organization refuse them claims.
- The organization will offer to every runner the Emergency Medical Service .Physicians, nurses, technicians, ambulance drivers, massage therapists who are trained in wilderness first aid and equipped with radio communications will be ready to take action.
- Each runner will have to assume and being responsible for any expense . In the registration form must be written the health care service.
- The organizers of this event and sponsors, will use photographies, videos, films, and any other recording type of this event, for any legitimate use.
- Organizers do not become responsible of any missed, robbed and/or theft of personal objects.
FAMILIAR TREKKING 15 KM.
Males and females will be able to take part. The people under 14 years old will have to be all the times accompanied for a tutor or parents.
The start will be the same for k42 and k15.
This race does not have classification neither rewarding
SANCTIONS
A runner will be penalized if he received external assistance. In this case the penalty will be: 1ª Call of attention.
2 ª call of attention + 10 burdensome minutes
3 ª: Disqualification
The participants can not be accompanied by bicycles, cars, motorcycles neither another mean of transport,
The bib Number MUST be place in a clearly visible of the clothing , be fastened for the four corners and it can not be cut, folded or hidden. The sanction will be " disqualification".

the assistance among the runners is permitted. It is not allowed to push the runners or other violent actions. |
